On one issue--national security--, most Americans think Republicans
will be better than Democrats, but on most other issues Americans
think Democrats will do a better job.
It's most surprising on the issue of education. Why in the hell do
Americans think this way?
Just look at the worst schools in the US and they are mostly in
heavily Democratic communities. The students come from Democratic
families, and the schools--from principals down to the janitor--are
nearly all Democrats and liberals. How many inner city schools are
run by the GOP? How many students in those crazy schools are from
conservative Republican families?
The most inept, the laziest, and the most corrupt managers of
education in America are in public education totally dominated by
Democrats and liberals. Most public school administrators are
liberals or democrats. They spend tons of money and have little to
show for it.
Also, the most radical, hatemongering, and divisive figures--teachers
and deans--in education are liberals and Democrats. Bill Ayers the
radical anti-American professor is a Democrat. And, there are people
like him in many universities, highschools, and even grammar schools
who've politicized the curriculum and told students that there's no
point to success--or that you cannot even succeed--unless America is
radically changed along neo-Marxist lines.
In contrast, there are likely to more conservative students and
teachers in communities with much better educational achievement and
patriotism.
As for higher education Americans complain that costs keep rising, and
that it's becoming harder and harder for parents to afford college
education for their kids. But, who runs these universities where the
costs keeping going up and up? Are they conservative Republicans or
liberal Democrats? Nearly 99% of professors, deans, administrators,
and the like are Democrats, liberals, or leftists. Indeed, there are
far more hardline leftists in the universities than there are moderate
conservatives. So, higher education--academically and
administratively--certainly is not in the hands of conservatives or
Republicans. It is controlled, managed, and administered by liberals,
leftists, Democrats, and such. And, look at the costs going up and up
and up.
So much of college spending goes to fund useless departments that do
nothing but promote political correctness and radicalism. Professors
in these departmetns are nothing but leeches and parasites who suck
college funds dry--paid for by hardworking parents mostly in the
private sector--and indoctrinate their impressionable students with
hatred of capitalism and the USA. Every college must now support a
women's studies, gay studies, black studies, this studies, that
studies department. And, we wonder why the costs keep going up. So,
every collge has its growing share of hack academics or hackademics
who pull a hefty salary by teaching total crap.
Also, our radical egalitarianism allows many unqualified kids to go to
college purely at the expense of those who are qualified--and can pay.
So, those who can pay full tuiton are extorted more and more so that
politically correct administrators can fill their quota of admitting
students who are not academically nor financially suitable for
attending their universities.
Yet, the majority of Americans think liberals and Democrats will be
better for education than Republicans and conservatives. This is too
funny.
But, why is this?
Perhaps, there are some reasons which seem reasonable to voters.
1. There is the image of Evangelicals trying to push creationism into
science classes in highschool, and this makes conservatives seem anti-
intellectual, anti-rational, and anti-science. There is a point to
this as creationism does NOT belong in science classes. Religion and
science must be separated at all times. There is no requirement for
any Church to preach evolution from the pulpit, and there should be no
requirement for any science class to teach religious doctrine--even if
cloaked in pseudoscientific language--in the classroom.
Conservatives with sense should be adamant in not allowing religion to
interfere with science. It's one thing to call for respecting
religion; it's quite another to allow religious ideas to infiltrate
science education.
2. There is an overemphasis on symbolism on the part of conservatives.
When conservative get worked up over education, they focus on stuff
like 'pledge of allegiance' or 'school prayer'. Whether those things
are good or not, they're essentially symbolic matters and don't
address the real issue of quality of education. In terms of actual
proposals to improve education, conservatives have been
unimaginative.
3. Though liberal ideas on education are almost all bad, liberals act
busy and make a lot of noise about education reform, about educational
imbalance, about social unfairness between communities, and about
coming up with new proposals. Making noise--even if stupid noise--
gets more attention than making no noise. In the story of 'Emperor
has no clothes', two tailors act like they're busy at making clothes
so the entire town pays attention to their 'work'.
Similarly, though liberals come up with stupid ideas, they act like
they're doing something, thinking new ideas, and so on. There is much
less of this among conservatives who repeat the mantra, 'big
government sucks'. Now, charter schools and vouchers may be good
ideas, but it's harder to attract attention talking about charter
schools than a unified education policy for entire communities or the
whole nation. Because liberals think more in terms of big government,
they sound like they are more engaged in the big important issues of
the day.
4. Since most teachers and professors--and intellectuals--are leftist
or liberal, many Americans learned about the world at the feet of
liberal types. So, it's possible that good many Americans equate ideas/
intellect/education/knowlege with liberalism and leftism. In
contrast, many Americans think of some redneck peckerwood when they
think of a conservative. |

Since Democrats invented and fund just about all the world spy gear,
it's simple.
Either the morons maintain the gear or give it to Israel.
