It's because their religion is more important to them than the
truth. It's like a lady I know. Her mammogram showed a shadow and
they asked her to come back for more testing. She cried that she
didn't want to have cancer*, so her son (who is a doctor),
canceled the second test and told her she's alright. After that,
she was no longer emotionally distraught. Sticking their head in
the ground works well for some people.
|
But did the shadow from the mammogram disappear, or did she end up
with cancer?

* She was very upset. My description doesn't do justice to how
scared and upset she was.

Don't know yet. This just happened last month. She's 79 years
old, so even if it is cancer, there's a good chance she'll die of
something else before we find out.
(Forgive me if this is a double-post. I first posted this on July
2nd, and, as of the Fourth, it still hasn't shown up. Thank you,
to the idiots at Verizon and that a------ in NY for forcing me to
go to a free news server to get the Alt groups.)
