"The robberies were done to help individuals handle the ever increasing food costs. Food Stores in Nea Smirni were victims of this group. Around twenty of them walked into the store, filled up their carts with various products and left without paying. The stolen products were distributed to random strangers on the street for free." says in the report. Petty criminals like that are not socialist revolutionaries. I don't think Marx would have advocated those tactics. Of course it cannot be a long-term tactic but it is fun. Greece is the most expensive country in Euro group with the lowest GDP per capita. People are paying double prices in many goods comparing to German or French consumers.
