There is good reason to be skeptical of global warming.
Why? Nothing you wrote above connects.

Actually, what I think he's trying to say in his own inimitable and mostly

It doesn't ?
Like global warming, the theory is subject to much heated
debate.
Like the theory that babies come from inside their mommies'
bodies. The kids in the nursery school around the corner
just cannot agree on this. If only the scientific evidence
were conclusive! But I guess we will never know.
------- |
One thing is for sure. Scientists agree more on the possibility
of Earth being decimated by a big rock headed our way than it
does the possibility that humans are able to affect climate to
such a calamitous degree.

Notice how they don't waste any time on determining if the ark was
equipped
with sails or a 2 stroke outboard
Much less how a ship only 600 ft long could hold enough food for each
species
for that long of a voyage or how a single extended family could care for
them.
|
Well the two (or seven) of each species were wittle wittie babies (and
therefore had to be hand carried on to the ark), the 'voyage' went faster
than everyone thought <wink, wink>, and the animals and insects were
provided Jesus-God's 'love' in addition to the pampering provided by Noah
and his peeps, don't you know.
The bible doesn't mention it but Noah and the rest of his family were
provided with gold plated clothespins hand-made by angels to put on their
noses to help keep the stench of the various varieties of 'poop' (Aramaic)
and 'crap' (Hebrew) smelling up the ark to a tolerable level.
Hope that clears up the 'mysteries'.

Well it does, but how many of each were there, 7 or 2? Aren't the many and
varied contradictions of the Bible wonderful? And yet these Christian
fundamentalists say that EVERY WORD in the Bible is not only true, but
literally the revealed Word of God! And they wonder why there are atheists! |

Do you think that the Earth doesn't orbit the Sun? If you are that

It would have been a difficult trip involving at least one ocean crossing.

That is what a cubit is, an approximation.
It is the distance from the tip of the middle finger, to the elbow
This approximates 18 inches.

Right, it should be obvious that there is no reason for
Americans to even think about something as silly as averaging
temperatures from all over the world, especially since those
temperatures do not represent any well defined amount of energy. |
