Anyone know who created god?
That's a straw man question, based on a bad twisting
of a premise of science. There is no need for God to
have a creator.
By definition, yes. Who's definition? Why, man's, of course. The
serious answer is that man created the idea of gods. One should never
believe one's own stories.

In other words, who cares about logic. We should just
believe you, because you said so. Of course, this means
that you're saying that you can't be wrong and are
therefore, "a god".

Goodbye, stupid!

There's nothing more stupid than a religious person trying to use logic
to persuade another to follow his religion.

Hello Math. Forum:

I have a formula for the creation of the Universe, including God....It involves the cumulative co-existence of mathematically general components of Systems:

Every(x) + Any(x) + Some(x) + Non(x) => Critical Information.

Or in the case of this system of concern, the principal system (Universe, god, it's unique functional value, and the Non-Functional value of it all) it gives the following expression:

Every(A)*/Any(A)*/Some(A)*/Non(A)*/Every(X)*/Any(X*/Some(X)*/Non(X)

Where A is the Principal System again and X is any other perceivable factor.

This is all explained in my Application section of my Creative Mathematics web site:

I think the answer is Infinity.

Logically, the notion of something making something else
presumes precedence in time. The creator should have existed
earlier than the creation. God, however, is beyond time and the
concept of creation may not be even applicable here. Its like
in maths trying to decide which integer is smaller (or bigger)
than i (the complex square of -1). They are incomparable.

In fact, no human logic can be adequate enough to
explain God, including the one I just used Smile

===>That is because like all believers, you arecreating your own "god"
in your own mind, and that "god" is incompatible with logic. -- L.

Julian Jaynes might say that god originated
with auditory hallucinations, one hearing one's
dead parents. The King guided his clan via
auditory hallucinations of his ancestors, who
were thus gods. Although some consider Julian
Jaynes' theories to be over-simplified, they
represent an important and awesome intellectual
development which, unfortunately, seems little
known today.

Another answer to OP's dilemma is the well-known
story:

Quote:
A story is told of William James, the great psychologist
and author of The Varieties of Religious Experience.
... "Good," James went on. "Now tell me, just what is
it that stands beneath the great white elephants?"
"In each case," the sage replied, "there stands
another great white elephant."
... "But tell me what stands under all of the
elephants," James insisted.
"Dr. James, Dr. James," the Hindu replied patiently,
"don't you understand? It's great white elephants,
all the way down!"

No more than it makes the question of who created your imagined
big bang a moot.

And who says the big bang had a creator?

Maybe the universe is oscilatory, alternating between
Big Bang - Big Crunch cycles endlessly.

The question of the Big Bang creator being moot doesn't
bother anyone. No one has a hair up their ass about the
existence of such a creator.

You can't say likewise, can you?

If you find out who created God, let me know, because I want to ask
him who created him ... and that giant turtle he's standing on.

No, I think we all, as human beings, have an innate right to
question the actions of those who behave like assholes, even if they
are God. Which is to say, we can all recognize injustice, and it
doesn't matter who is committing the injustice, it is still
recognizable as such.
