He's starting to resemble, to me, the Harold Hill character in The
Music Man: likeable rake who can sell you just about anything and
everything. He was even using some kind of newer downhome drawl last
night in Iowa as he worked the crowd - and the genuflecting network
anchor crowd - to a virtual orgasm of "Hope" and "Change" so-called.
He's actually got them convinced the long dreampt of Utopia is at hand
- once they elect the Obama. |
