If you own a Toyota Prius that costs 45 dollars to fill, and wont
drive 5 miles you should immediately return to the service department
at your local Toyota dealer. Some of these vehicles were mistakenly
equipped with a special lightweight fuel tank that only holds 3 ounces
of fuel. Some fuel stations have been thought to be charging 45
dollars to fill the miniature tanks due to the danger of fuel
overflows caused by the pump auto-shut-off valves not able to cut off
that fast as there is probably more than 3 ounces of fuel in the hose
at any given time. Please contact the service department and we will
schedule an appointment to remove the faulty tank and put in the
proper 10 gallon tank!
