who has put their trust in Jesus Christ to be the payment
for their sins, in other words to be their Savior, and who
has turned to the Lord through his Son, they automatically
then have righteousness (Jesus' righteousness not their
own) imputed unto them.
Too bad there is so little evidence to suggest that it is true. There
is very little evidence that suggests that Christians are any more
righteous than anyone else. Indeed, there is some evidence to suggest
that they might be somewhat less (e.g. greater percentage of
Christians in prisons).
It is common for Christians to hold "once saved, always saved"
I have had several tell me face to face that it means that they can do
*ANYTHING* and still go to heaven.
The actions of most christians upholds this view.
Many will also argue that they can do no good on their own only god does
good.
What this says about free will is interesting.
You would think that if "Jesus' righteousness " was half what was
claimed, it would show and that given a group of two or more of them, they
would agree on things.
We believe that in John 3:16,
which says "For God so loved the world that he gave his
only begotten son; that whosoever believeth in him, has
everlasting life." We emphasize that this says "whosoever,"
and not "whosoever and is a Baptist," or "whosoever and
is a Catholic," or "whosoever and is an Episcopalian..." etc.
That who ever that person is, he is saved if he has received
Christ as his Savior and also as his Lord.

If an atheist was to ask if this should be taken literally, the answer
would be yes.
If the atheist, or anybody, then said that he or she believed in JC and
was therefore saved, the "explanations" would come forth.
You have to read this, you have to understand that, it only applies if you
wear green. (I lied about the green)
Literal statements stand on their own. None of what they believe does.
The Bible gives direction and the direction is meant |
to be taken literally, if it applies to the person. The
argument about once saved always saved is what is
given in the Bible. Once a person has accepted Jesus
to be the payment for ALL of this sins, he then is
said in the Bible to be "saved." The person was born
physically into the world. He is born spiritually
when he puts his trust in Jesus to be the payment for
his sins. Just as a person can't be physically unborn
again and enter back into his mother's womb, he also
can't be unborn spiritually once he has received Christ
as the payment for all of his sins. The Holy Spirit,
according to Ephesians 4:30, is given to each believer
and they are sealed to him "unto redemption." He can't
lose you once you have been sealed to him.
"If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss:
but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."

"The Judgment Seat of Christ"; aka "The Beama":
2 Cor. 5:10:
"For we must all appear before the judgment seat
of Christ; that every one may receive the things done
in his body, according to that he hath done, whether
it be good or bad."

The Judgment Seat of Christ is part of "the first
resurrection." All those in the first resurrection
are saved. The rest of the dead don't live again
at all until after the thousand year reign of Christ
(the Millennium). It's after that that the Great
White Throne Judgment takes place.

as real, and write to me as though they are sure that a Suzanne
exists that is writing to them. Yet no one has written books
about me to tell you about me. You have no proof that I am
who I say that I am (but I am who I say that I am). Not just
one, but many people wrote about Christ to tell people
about his life and who he is. And some will not believe
what those wrote, even though there are many. So you
accept that I am real, even without much evidence at all.

Well, first off I get a response when I talk to you. That's plenty of
evidence you exist. I cannot query any of the authors of the bible. It
tells me that I should ask God to get a response (isn't that what prayer
is?) and yet I get no response. There is no corroborating evidence that
God exists. Certainly if God exists and I follow the directions in
order to talk to him I should get an answer. But I don't. I've done it
a lot, too. 10 years worth.
It's remotely possible that you're a program like Eliza but your answers
are a tad too sophisticated for me to believe that. Your answers
indicate a higher level of processing than computers can do at present.
In short, you're real, God isn't.

A Christian's righteousness is perfect. That's |
not because of the Christian but because of
the righteousness of Christ which is imputed to
them as a free gift from their having trusted him
as their Savior, the payment for all of their sins,
past, present, and future. Your statement shows
that you don't understand. If a person accepts
Jesus' payment for all (all) of his sins, he has
Christ's own perfect righteousness imputed
upon him and then God sees that person as being
sinless from then on, because they have trusted
in His son. The basis for the pardon of all of our
sins is that Jesus shed his blood to pay for them all,
and if someone accepts that he did this, then he is
"saved." Jesus was made to be sin for us that we
might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

eMails anyway....and, there is absolutely NO written testimony from
anyone living at the the same time he purportedly did...not a single
character in any language...even though there were many prolific writers
documenting events in that region at that time...not a word...except
for the fables begun ( by the creator of christianity, Saul or pre
conversion Paul) so many decades after his alleged death that no one
living at that time had any personal knowledge of such an individual...
By the way...we only take your word that your Suzanne because it's
just email,and it keeps things moving and friendly like...we really
don't care who you say you are....start declaring you're the messiah and
