with all the chanting ( Buddist mantra, ) hand waving, plus the rock
and roll which constitutes the core of what they call ' worship, ' the
Fundamentist ( Arminian; will worshiper ) offers a Savior they find
most appealing, gathering their theology from the mood they work
themselves into.
such un-Biblical proclaimations as " God loves everybody ," " make a
decision for Christ, " " Christ will reign as King over this sinful
earth for a thousand years, " you're not saved unless you speak in
tongues " and the like, may be a lot of fun to these people but social
acceptance through the preaching to itching ears never saves
regardless of the elevated emotions brought on by such banter.
when the Apostle Paul writes saying... " For we write nothing else
to you than what you read and understand... " ( 2 Cor. 1:13 ) he
refers to the doctrine that being known of God brings with it hearing
the voice of His Holy Spirit as one reads the Holy Scriptures... just
as Apostle John says in 1 John 4:6...
" We are of God. He who knows God hears us. The one who is not of
God does not hear us. From this we know the spirit of truth and the
spirit of error. "
how could it be that when the Bible says man is not saved by the
will of man ( Joh. 1:12,13 ) these offer a salvation gotten only after
man does something good towards God ?
the gospel of decision making for the forgiveness of sins is also
the core of Pentecostalism. when Agnes Ozman stood up in her
Methodist congregation and rattled off jibberish the minister received
it with great joy and help promote talking in tongues... through
sin... women are not permitted by God to speak in the congregation.
1 Cor.14:34,35
the gospel of will worship will never go away. as long as there is
preaching elevating man to his lofty position that some spark of good
resides in him, all the while he is said to be dead in trespasses and
sins, the unbeliever will dress himself up for a feast he was never
invited to attend. Mt. 25:1-10

" believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved "
Acts 16:31
" and as many as had been appointed to eternal life, believed."
Acts 13:48 |
