Thanks to RBH at Internet Infidels for the heads up.
From the article in The Australian
"AN unholy war has erupted between a star of the US evangelical movement
and his Australian flock, with claims of bullying and unbiblical
behaviour.
Former NSW chief magistrate Clarrie Briese, who nearly brought down
former High Court judge Lionel Murphy, has led a confidential
investigation into the international dispute being fought out among the
international arms of "creationist" ministries. "

CMI is justifying their actions to here, and this page links to others
that give the background.

Order plenty of popcorn and beer folk, this could be very entertaining. |

So the creationists who accuse scientist to use the courts to decide
what is science (incorrectly, of course), are now using the courts to
decide whose religious conviction is correct?
Priceless!

Oh, yeah... although that is actually part of an earlier split, in
1987. But there's a connection.
I've written up a potted history of the dispute; how AiG got started,
when the cracks began to appear, what happened as the split took
place, and why there is now a lawsuit that has been filed on the
matter.
I've also backed it up with a very comprehensive set of links for more
information... the best information being from CMI; supplemented with
a bit more from other sources. I'll be extending the page as more
information comes to light. Which I expect it will, fairly soon.
You can read it at http://duoquartuncia.blogspot.com/2007/06/answers-in-genesis-lawsuit.html
Jim Lippard's blog is also a great source. In particular, he has some
stuff on the split between CSF and John MacKay in 1987, and that is
where you get the witchcraft. It is resurfacing now, as Ken Ham
apparently reconciled with MacKay and used him to help disseminate a
nauseatingly hilarious letter about how AiG was under "Spiritual
Attack" with this lawsuit business. I talk about in my blog as well.
Jim has more detail... see

Hi folks. Just dropping in again after all these years, as I think
you'll find this stuff interesting.
