let's suppose for a minute that evolution, abiogenesis and big bang,
etc., happen
these just might be the *means* of creation
you still have no argument against creation itself

I can suppose for a lot longer than that.

Indeed they might, there are any number of theistic evolutionists in
this newsgroup, who would agree.

Whilst I cannot speak for anyone esle on t.o., for me, the argument is
not against creation per se, but against the total lack of evidence
for a creator.
Of course everything you suggest here is also true of last
thursdayism. So what evidence do you have that refutes last
thursdayism? And if you have none, whay are you not a proponent of it? |

And while we're at it, why don't we just suppose that we accept this
'fact of life' because of the overwhelming amount of evidence in
support of them and not just for the sake of argument.

And then again they might not be!

Nor need we since you are the one making the claim. The burden of
proof is yours. |

So you admit that Odin may have used the Big Bang, abiogenesis, and
evolution to create everything? |

So what? I'm not particularly interested in making an argument against
creation itself. |

And you have no argument for the supernatural. But that topic is not
within the purview of science. Haven't you heard? |

No. All three of those are theories based on observations/evidence.

Wonderful. Then any Creator would not have anti-science nitwits
trying to argue against the theories. Wish it were so.

And you have no argument against unicorns.

Yes I can.
1) If the Unicorn is Pink, he can not be Invisible. This is a logical
contradiction.

No, if the IPU is invisible, you cannot say what color he is. We know
that he is pink by faith, but we know he is invisible because we can't
see him.

2) I can argue with him on any topic we disagree on, whether or not it

When you read "You still have no argument against the Invisible Pink
Unicorn" think of two ex-heavyweight boxers in cheap suits punctuating
the sentence with "capiche".
