IRS Goons to invade Switzerland
The Bush Administration is so hard up for money that
they are going to "Attempt" (LOL) to subvert the sovereignty
of Switzerland. I hope the Swiss tells the US Department of
Justice to fuck off and go blow cock

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- The Justice Department said
late Monday it is seeking a federal court order authorizing
the Internal Revenue Service to request information from
Switzerland-based UBS about U.S. taxpayers who may be using
Swiss bank accounts to evade federal income taxes. The
Justice Department is seeking permission to allow the IRS to
serve "John Doe" summons, which are used to obtain
information about possible tax fraud by people whose
identities are unknown. The move was prompted by a statement
from former UBS banker Bradley Birkenfeld, who claimed that
UBS employees assisted wealthy U.S. clients in concealing
their ownership of assets held offshore. Birkenfeld
estimated that UBS had about $20 billion of assets under
management in "undeclared" accounts for U.S. taxpayers.
Birkenfeld pleaded guilty in June to conspiring to defraud
the IRS by assisting UBS clients avoid U.S. reporting
requirements on income in Swiss bank accounts, according to
the Justice Department. End of Story

this is the ultimate height of the war machine's insanity. the swiss
have remained neutral & out of foreign wars for over 500 years. the
(not so) great dictator has a bug put into his ear to scrounge through
the couch cushions looking for loose change, a cheap excuse to pick on
the swiss. i suppose no country is sovereign in his twisted head.
leave it to emperor george & his vile minions to try to spend more
money than they would be able to steal from switzerland, just to
finance this madness. p.j. o'rourke said that it has already cost us

a thought just occurred to me. what if nobody wanted to fight or even

the tech is there. just try to lobby for it, past the oil soaked
congress and your good to go, dude.
we have cars that can run on (to varying degrees of success) solar,
wind, compressed air, hydrogen, water, steam, electricity, etc. the
problem is that detroit strong arms the inventors to sell or give the
patents to them, then they abandon the technologies. so we are stuck
with gas burning cars & trucks.
sure they *make* these kinds of cars, yet nobody mass produces them
without the big car maker's say so.
face it, we're boned.
