Confession time for the well-known Hollywood Catholic. In a recent
AARP interview, the actor said he wouldn't run for public office,
since "I'm not qualified." Wow. Honesty from an actor. Despite all
of his condemnation of Bush on political affairs, Sheen is basically
saying, "I'm not a President...I just play one on TV."
So, next time some actor, who got a platform by playing some character
on television (making them a capable liar), starts telling us how the
world should be run, remember Martin Sheen's confession.

Funny, I was never inclined to give the political opinions of
an actor any more weight than those of the guy at the end
of the bar.
You?

Uh...I strongly suspect Martin Sheen doesn't think George Bush is
qualified to be President, either! |

Nor does he have anything kind to say about the last actor elected
President. |
