Now the Democrats want to create gasoline shortages, which means gas
lines at the pump, and no gas at any price. If the Democrats in
Congress succeed in passing the windfall profits tax on oil companies,
the oil companies will stop pumping the black gold. This will lead to
the USA having to import 100% of it's oil needs, which will lead to
shortages, and $15/gallon gas and $300 fill-ups. This already blew up
in the Democrats face in the Carter years, which led to a 25 year
Republican surge. Can the Democrats be so stupid to repeat the exact
same mistake that nearly destroyed their party back then? With $15
gas, everyone's gas tank will be a target for thieves. Think that
locking gas cap will stop them, think again. The gas thieves of today
don't even bother with the gas cap, they just pop a hole in the bottom
of the gas tank, and siphon it that way. So now you have a car with
no gas, that now needs a new gas tank. Oh, who gives a damn, you
wanted "change", so you voted for Democrats, and you'll get what you
wanted.....a bus pass. As you gaze out of the smudged bus window at
the nearly empty freeway, with only the rich and their fancy cars and
their fancy women, you finally realize, "Democrats,....Party of the
